We will measure your weight and height, check your blood pressure, and, if necessary, test your vision and hearing and take blood samples.

For certain health problems, we may refer you for additional tests or a specialist consultation before the medical certificate can be issued.
Issuing the medical certificate
If you have passed the medical check-up and meet the requirements, we will issue you a seafarer’s medical certificate.
