Breast augmentation is an aesthetic operation that increases breast size using implants. The procedure is suitable for adult women whose breast development is complete and helps correct small or asymmetrical breasts. Breast reduction surgery, or mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure that removes excess breast tissue, fat, and skin, and lifts the breast and nipple-areola complex. What to expect during your appointment
Initial consultation and planning
Your expectations, health status, and suitability for the operation will be discussed.

An individualized treatment plan will be created, explaining the procedure’s options, risks, and expected outcomes.
Preparation for surgery

On the day of the operation, you must come to the clinic healthy, clean, and with an empty stomach (for general anesthesia).

Operation
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and usually lasts 1.5–4 hours.
Depending on the chosen procedure (augmentation or reduction), implants are placed or excess tissue is removed.
Recovery and follow-up
After the operation, you will be monitored in the recovery room and, as a rule, you can go home the same evening with an escort.
Instructions will be provided for wound care, pain relief, and the recovery period (e.g., wearing a support bra, avoiding physical exertion).
Follow-up appointments will take place 10-14 days later for suture removal (if necessary) and 1 and 12 months after the operation to assess the results.
