What to expect during your appointment

Hearing test (pure-tone audiometry)

You will be placed in a soundproof booth and asked to wear headphones. If necessary, special bone conduction transducers will be placed on the bone in front of or behind your ear. Sounds of different intensities and frequencies will be presented, and you must signal each time you hear a sound.

Analysis and explanation of results

The specialist will analyze the examination results (audiogram) and explain your hearing acuity and possible causes of hearing loss.

Counseling and recommendations

We will give you individualized recommendations for further action, which may include trying hearing aids, consulting an ENT specialist, or other supportive measures.
