Sleep studies Apnealink, NoxT3s
Sleep studies are diagnostic medical examinations during which various physiological parameters are recorded during sleep with the aim of identifying sleep disorders. During the studies, several indicators are monitored, including nasal breathing, chest movement, blood oxygen saturation, heart rhythm, muscle tone, and sounds heard during sleep (snoring). If necessary, additional sensors may be placed to detect other sleep disorders. Nocturnal polygraphic study is primarily used to diagnose nocturnal breathing disorders, especially snoring and sleep apnea, and to assess the severity of the disease. At Meliva Clinic, ResMed ApneaLink Air devices are used for this purpose in Tartu and Nox T3s devices in Tallinn.
