- Attend the assessment well-rested and eat before the appointment.
- If you use reading glasses or hearing aids, please bring them in working condition.
- Bring results of any previous cognitive assessments if available.
- Please bring an identification document with you.
What to expect during your appointment
Preparation and preliminary assessment
The process may begin with one or more preliminary sessions and/or completion of shorter self-report questionnaires.
Assessment process
During the assessment, you complete a variety of evidence-based tasks designed to evaluate cognitive functioning. Additional questionnaires, interviews, or assessment methods may also be used if needed.
Analysis of results
The specialist analyses the test results and prepares a written summary of the findings.
Feedback appointment
If desired, the results and recommendations can be discussed during a separate feedback session with the specialist who conducted the assessment.
