Introduction
As a hand surgeon, I deal with congenital, traumatic, degenerative, inflammatory, and neoplastic diseases of the hand and wrist—with the aim of restoring hand function for both grasping and touching. Patients with hand and forearm injuries, pain, stiffness, nerve compression syndromes, tendon diseases, and benign tumors and cysts are welcome for appointments. Some problems require operative treatment, but often the solution is physiotherapy, orthoses, or hormone injections.
