Introduction
Professionally, I am most fascinated by cardiac arrhythmias and their diagnosis and treatment. I consider evidence-based treatment and the application of novel treatment methods important—this foundation was provided by my doctoral studies at the University of Queensland, where I researched the field of extracorporeal life support, and the results of which have been recognized with the European professional organization’s young researcher award. I welcome adult patients who are suspected of having or already have heart diseases.
