Education and experience
Melivas pakuvad esmatasandi arstiabi pere- ja üldarstid. Perearst on vastava spetsialiseerumise läbinud eriarst. Üldarst on arstiõppe läbinud arstina registreeritud spetsialist. Pere- ja üldarstide vastuvõttudele võivad pöörduda kõikvõimalike tervisemuredega patsiendid vanusest sõltumata. Vajadusel saab arst edasi suunata vereanalüüsidele, uuringutele või väga spetsiifilise terviseprobleemi korral ka sobivale eriarstile. Sagedasemad pere- või üldarstile pöördumise põhjused on näiteks:
- põletikud (nt silmapõletik, kuseteedepõletik; ägeda hingamisteede põletiku korral esmane konsultatsioon Digikliinikus)
- krooniliste haiguste ravi ja jälgimine (nt kõrgvererõhutõbi, diabeet)
- ennetavad tervisekontrollid (arstiga konsulteerimine uuringute planeerimiseks ja tulemuste tõlgendamiseks)
