As an allergologist-immunologist, I see both children and adults with allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, atopic dermatitis, food allergies, insect venom allergies, and drug allergies. I also treat patients with immunodeficiencies, where the disease primarily manifests as unusually frequent or severe infections. Allergology-immunology is a rapidly developing field, with new knowledge constantly emerging and disease-specific treatments opening up more and more possibilities. Patient counseling is especially important to me, to avoid unnecessary restrictions in food and medication choices.
