As a pediatrician, I deal with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of health problems in children and adolescents from newborns up to 18 years of age. Children with acute inflammations, allergies and skin rashes, developmental and growth issues, joint problems, asthma, and suspected cardiovascular disease are welcome for appointments.

Education and experience
Lastearst ehk pediaater tegeleb laste ja noorukite tervisemurede ennetamise, diagnoosimise ning raviga. Lastearstile võib pöörduda vastsündinud imikust 18-aastase noore täiskasvanuni välja ning mõnikord kestab ravisuhe veel kauemgi. Lastearstile pöördutakse näiteks järgmiste lapse tervisega seotud küsimustega:
- äge põletik lapsel (nt palavik, hingamisteede põletiku, gastroenteriidi sümptomid)
- allergiad ja nahalööbed
- lapse arengu ja kasvamisega seotud küsimused
- liigeseprobleemid
- kahtlus südame-veresoonkonnahaigusele lapsel
- astma
