Introduction
An occupational health physician assesses the compatibility between an employee’s health and their work. Employees attend an occupational health physician’s appointment when referred by their employer for an occupational health check. During the appointment, work-related health risks and the employee’s health status are assessed, and recommendations may be provided to support health, maintain work ability, and adapt working conditions when necessary.
A cardiologist specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the heart and cardiovascular system. Patients visit a cardiologist for heart- or circulation-related concerns, as well as for cardiovascular risk assessment and follow-up care. During the appointment, the patient’s health status and cardiovascular risk factors are evaluated, and additional examinations or treatment may be recommended when necessary. The cardiologist also provides guidance on maintaining heart health and preventing cardiovascular disease.

Kardioloogia on sisemeditsiinieriala, mis tegeleb südame ja veresoonte haiguste ennetuse, diagnoosimise ja raviga. Tavalisemad põhjused kardioloogi vastuvõtule pöördumiseks on:
