Introduction
An occupational health physician assesses the compatibility between an employee’s health and their work. Employees attend an occupational health physician’s appointment when referred by their employer for an occupational health check. During the appointment, work-related health risks and the employee’s health status are assessed, and recommendations may be provided to support health, maintain work ability, and adapt working conditions when necessary.
