Using Your Employer-Sponsored Health Insurance at Meliva
At Meliva, you can use your employer-sponsored health insurance regardless of the insurance provider. We explain how employer-sponsored health insurance works and how you can use it as an employee.
What is Employer-Sponsored Health Insurance?
Employer-sponsored health insurance is a voluntary health insurance benefit that helps employees access healthcare more quickly and covers medical expenses according to the terms of the insurance plan. It complements Estonia’s national health insurance system.
Services covered by employer-sponsored health insurance may include family medicine, specialist care, mental health services, dental care, vaccinations, and more. Coverage, reimbursement limits, and deductibles vary depending on the insurance provider and policy. Before booking an appointment, we recommend reviewing the services, limits, and reimbursement conditions included in your plan.

Meliva has cooperation agreements with ERGO, PZU, If, and Seesam. If your employer-sponsored health insurance is provided by one of these partners, billing is simple: you only pay the applicable deductible at the clinic, and we handle the remaining settlement directly with the insurer.
If your insurance is provided by another insurance company, you will usually need to pay for the service in full at the time of your visit. You can then submit a claim together with the required medical documents and invoice to your insurer for reimbursement.

The booking system was convenient! I wouldn’t have expected Rävala Clinic to look like this. The doctor was very helpful! I liked that I could sit comfortably while waiting to be called, rather than having to walk around the corridors.
I have visited the clinic several times, and everything has always gone smoothly. It’s nice to feel that you are being listened to.
