I believe that supportive and fulfilling close relationships are like a foundation in our lives; if this foundation is strong, then our lives stand on solid ground, and we have more strength and energy for other things that create value in our lives (work, self-realization). However, such a relationship is not an endpoint but a journey, a continuous process with ups and downs, also including challenges and crises, which are a natural part of life.
