As a mammologist-oncologist, early detection of breast cancer is my heartfelt concern. I recommend women to have breast check-ups starting from the age of 30, as breast cancer also occurs in young women, and mammography does not always provide a complete picture – especially in cases of dense breast tissue. I consider it important that a patient with a worrying finding does not remain in a dormant state, but reaches a specialist in time.
