Travel medicine

When planning a trip, it is important to prioritise the health and safety of yourself and your loved ones to ensure that everything goes smoothly. Many infectious diseases that spread in the world can be prevented with vaccination and proper precautions.

The Meliva travel medicine office consults you on the objective and destination of your trip and the required vaccination plan.

We administer vaccinations on-site and also issue an international vaccination passport.

The travel medicine office also advises you on which medications to bring and gives instructions for putting together a medical kit for your travels. You should also consult a physician in the case of last-minute trips. There are a host of precautions that ensure better protection for your health.

In normal conditions, you should visit the travel medicine office at least one month before your trip – preferably sooner – for the vaccines to take effect.

In certain cases, revaccination is required, so make sure you have enough time for that.
