Occupational and organisational psychologist

An occupational and organisational psychologist focuses on maintaining mental health and preventing problems from becoming more severe. Counselling includes the discussion of health-related behaviour and factors causing work-related stress and burnout and possibilities for relieving them in the working environment. Together with the psychologist, patients analyse problems and find new perspectives and solutions for their issues.

The main topics discussed with an occupational and organisational psychologist are related to workload, working speed, relationships among staff (including negative relationships with a manager/colleagues, redundancy, workplace bullying, etc.), and questions related to personal or professional development.
