Deleting a Digital Clinic Account and Data

Guide for deleting your account in the mobile app:

1. Log in to the Digital Clinic mobile application with the account you wish to delete.
2. Navigate to the settings page by tapping on the rightmost icon at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down the page until you find the option "delete account" and press it.
4. You will be taken to a new page where you can submit a request to delete your Digital Clinic account.
5. To confirm your deletion request and complete the process, enter your given name and surname in the input field and press the "delete account" button.

You will be logged out, and your account and data (for which there is no other legal basis for retention) will be deleted within the next 48 hours.

What data is retained after deleting the account?

• Visits: 7 years according to the Accounting Act § 12
• Digital Clinic chat history: 30 years according to the Health Services Organization Act § 42 para. 4
• Payment history: 7 years according to the Accounting Act PS § 12
• Questionnaire responses: 30 years according to the Health Services Organization Act § 42 para. 4

*If you have not used any services in the Digital Clinic app, there is no data to retain.
