Skin health

At Meliva, the patient can consult experienced dermatologists for various skin problems. If necessary, our dermatologists refer the patient for further examinations or prescribe the necessary treatment.

The most common services offered by dermatologists include:

  • Examination of birthmarks
  • Diagnosis and treatment of skin rashes
  • Surgical removal of birthmarks and skin growths
  • Cryotherapy (cold treatment) to remove benign skin growths (e.g. warts)

In addition to dermatologists, there are several specialists working in Meliva who can help with various skin problems.

For example, a general surgeon can help you in the following areas:

  • Minor surgeries (removal of birthmarks, sebaceous cysts, lipomas, and other small skin growths)*
  • Surgical removal of benign skin tumors such as birthmarks, sebaceous cysts, small lipomas (benign tumors of adipose tissue), and other skin growths
  • Removal of birthmarks
  • Removal of warts (benign soft skin growths) or papillomas
  • Surgery for ingrown toenails
  • Treatment of small scars and keloids

You do not need a referral to book an appointment with a dermatologist.

When a skin problem appears, it is often difficult to determine what it is or which specialist you should see. For initial advice on skin problems, book a remote consultation in Meliva's Digital Clinic.
