Paediatric neurologist

A paediatric neurologist specialises in children’s neurological disorders from birth until reaching adulthood. We provide consultations for children's developmental disorders, epilepsy, headaches, and other symptoms. If necessary, the physician will refer the child for further medical examinations.

The most common reasons for referring to a paediatric neurologist are:

  • restlessness in infancy;
  • suspected developmental disorder;
  • hyperactivity and problems with concentrating;
  • muscle tone disorders (spasticity, hypertonia)
  • problems with walking;
  • seizures and epilepsy;
  • dizziness;
  • impaired balance;
  • headaches;
  • sleep disorders;
  • hyperkinesia or uncontrollable movements (ticks);
  • autism spectrum disorders.
