2D X-ray

A physician’s referral is required for the 2D X-ray. The physician does not have to be an employee of Meliva’s dental clinics.

Detailed diagnosis, high-quality treatment

We provide effective and high-quality treatment thanks to the use of the most modern X-ray technology for diagnosis. We perform all the necessary procedures on-site at the clinic.

• The panoramic X-ray shows the entire mouth – upper and lower jaw and teeth.
• Lateral view of the skull provides a good overview of the relationship between the teeth and jawbone.

Modern technology serves the interests of patients

• New technologies are safe for patients – the level of radiation is low and as safe as possible.
• We use special X-ray programmes for children (with particularly low doses of radiation).
• The imaging time is shorter and the image is produced faster.
• The image can be edited on the computer and compared with others to reveal differences invisible to the naked eye.
• An electronic image can be conveniently printed out, sent from one physician to another, and stored.

Please note:

• Remove glasses, earrings, and necklaces before the X-ray.
• X-ray is not recommended for pregnant women. Patients who are pregnant should consult with their physician before an X-ray.
