Digital impressions and designs

We accept digital impressions taken with intraoral scanners.

When sending a digital work file, please check that correct bite has been established. If necessary, please rescan immediately.

Please send the files to the e-mail address of the dental laboratory concerned, or directly to the system when using 3Shape and Medit Link. In order to send files via both programs, you must first establish a direct connection with the dental laboratory, called a partnership. To do this, contact the Tallinn dental laboratory for 3Shape and the Tallinn or Tartu dental laboratory for Medit Link.

We can open files in the following file formats:

• 3Shape Communicate Order Exchange (.3ox/.3oxz)
• Dental CAD Scene (*.dentalCAD)
• Plain STL (*.stl)
• Plain OBJ (*.obj)
• Point cloud Formats (*.obj, *.ply)
• Open System .dcm files (*.dcm)

When sending a digital impression, please include the following information:

• Name of the clinic, doctor and patient
• Type of work and choice of material
• Tooth shade
• Implant system
• Desired completion date of the work
