"Psychologist" is a general term for specialists in various fields of psychology. Depending on their specialization, a psychologist holds additional competencies in different areas of mental health and uses corresponding assistance and/or treatment methods.
A clinical psychologist holds certification in clinical psychology and training to support mental health, psychological well-being, and resilience, as well as to assist individuals with special psychological needs or mental and behavioral disorders and their families.
